Multiple advertising and analytics tags slow down your web pages. With TAGcelerate you can speed up your web pages and simplify website advertising and tracking tag management.
In today's online environment, most websites have multiple sets of ad and tracking tags.
Each of these can take a substantial amount of time for your visitors' browsers to execute,
leading to degraded user experience and potentially lower organic and paid search
ranking. In one Google test, a half second delay resulted in a 20% reduction traffic. With solutions
such as DoubleClick's Floodlight/Spotlight and Atlas's UMT, the tags are executed by the user's browser.
TAGcelerate's patent pending technology takes this burden off the visitors' browsers. All ad and
tracking tags are initiated in parallel, the results are aggregated together and returned in a single
object to the browser. The server is acting as a tethered browser on behalf of the real browser.
TAGcelerate supports all major advertising and tracking tags, including Doubleclick, Google Adsense,
Right Media, Atlas, Omniture and Google Analytics.
TAGcelerate also provides a tag content management function for that makes it easy to add or
remove such tags anywhere on your website. It simplifies the process of adding a new tracking system from your
SEM or Email marketing vendor.
TAGcelerate loads any number of Ads in under a second
-
A Fetch tag high up within your page source triggers the TAGcelerate server to begin fetching all the Ads for the current user.
Meanwhile, the browser goes on rendering the real content on the page.
Towards the end of the page, a Receive Tag calls the TAGcelerate server again,
this time getting back a single multi-MIME block with the Ads for each spot on the page.
The Ads are then separated and rendered in each of the appropriate Ad spots.
-
TAGcelerate maintains a set of cookies on the server side,
thereby allowing proper tracking to take place without impacting the desktop browser.
TAGcelerate solves this using a Tracking Proxy Server
- Your site just has a single TAGcelerate tag
- TAGcelerate establishes a unique, anonymous identity for the browser
- On the server side, TAGcelerate then fires the tracking tags for whatever analytics package you’re using,
mimicking the original browser.
- You end up with a complete set of analytics . You don’t have to be limited to a single package. Go ahead and add the custom tracking facilities from your SEM or
email marketing vendor
- Since performance is improved, you can afford to place the single tag in the <HEAD> of the page, for more accurate tracking
